WELCOME
Thank you for your
interest in Saint Ann School. For the past 87 years our program has been
educating students of all faiths, resulting in the graduation of thousands
of successful alumni living around the globe. Our tradition of educational
excellence does not allow us to rest on our laurels, but rather is a strong
flowing stream upon which we constantly draw as inspiration for our future.
When you come to our campus you will see happy students who care about their
classmates like family, for that is one of the ways we describe our school
community—a family. Our program challenges students not only to achieve high
academic performance, but more importantly to care for and serve one another
as brothers and sisters.
We believe it is our
responsibility and obligation to be continually refining and improving the
St. Ann experience. The recent addition of drama classes in our arts
program and increasing Spanish language instruction to four days per week
for all grades are visible examples of our innovative curriculum. An
essential aspect of our growth is the input we receive from our students and
families. Each year we conduct opinion surveys regarding academics and
atmosphere, we publically discuss our Strategic
Plan, and this year we used outside experts to evaluate the
effectiveness of our school's Catholic identity. Follow these links to
the assessment's summary and the
presentation overview.
We look forward to meeting you and showing you our beautiful St. Ann campus.
Give us a call and we'll send you information and schedule a personalized
informational tour (269-0568).
Please let us know if we can help in
any way. See you soon!
Sincerely,
John Foreman, Principal
P.S. We've got something to brag about. Our standardized test
scores for the 07-08 year put our school in the top schools nationwide. This shows what great teachers, a supportive
Pastor and parish, involved parents, and a great curriculum can do with our
wonderful students. Below is a chart showing the national percentile
rank for each class.

ABOUT SAINT ANN
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Peer Review Team found Saint Ann School to be an outstanding school, offering an academic education to its students and a community of faith to all of its stakeholders. The school reflects a mission that encompasses the growth of the whole child. The school has a remarkably dedicated faculty and staff, who have the needs of their students as their primary focus.
Mission
As an educational ministry of Saint Ann Church, Saint Ann School exists to assist in the Christian formation of its children in accordance with Catholic tradition. The mandate of this faith community is to provide quality, innovative education within a nurturing environment, to promote an appreciation of its diversity and a respect for individuals, and to foster a sense of self, crucial for future success. This is a place of both refuge and challenge; it is a place where the Gospel message is heard, lived in praise of God, and fulfilled in service to others.
Philosophy
Saint Ann School is a community permeated with
the love of Christ and centered around
sacrament. It is a place where each person’s uniqueness is celebrated and
all are treated with dignity, a place where children learn to appreciate
diversity and value each other.
Academic excellence is to be expected, but recognition of individual needs
takes precedence. Opportunities for success are a vital part of the
curriculum. For everyone involved in the school, we emphasize positive
behavior, as parents and teachers cooperate in preparing children to live
their lives in a responsible manner according to the Word of God.
