Parent Involvement
Research is clear; families who are involved in their child’s education are a powerful ingredient in outstanding student achievement.
Providing a rich variety of extracurricular activities to our students is not possible without adequate parent involvement. The Home and School Association, in conjunction with the school, need parents to organize and assist with school events and activities. To this end, a Family Volunteer Opportunity handbook will be distributed to all families during the summer. The handbook describes the variety of ways a family can be involved with Saint Ann throughout the school year.
Home and School Association
Parents need to be actively involved in the school. When the home and school work together good community spirit develops. Saint Ann School is a family that works together for the benefit of its children. The Home and School Association coordinates parent volunteers for school events and activities. All parents are members of the Home and School Association. Dues are included in the fees paid with registration/tuition. Parents have the opportunity to sign up for one or more committees or leadership positions. The school encourages all families to contribute forty hours to the school per year. Opportunities may be found in the Volunteer handbook that is sent to all families during the summer.

Your Everyday Shopping Can Support Saint Ann School
Thank you to everyone who participates in these programs. By doing this, you provide the school with "free money" that supports all the ways Home and School benefits our student programs and school community. Keep it up!!
Box Tops for Education
We all shop for groceries, sometimes two or three times a week –- or more. Now turn those shopping trips into easy cash for Saint Ann School, and encourage friends to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex®, in almost every aisle of the store. All you need to do is clip and turn them in to the school office — each one is worth 10¢ for the school. And, as an added bonus, each family who submits 50 or more box tops each quarter is rewarded with a free duds day (see the school calendar for details.) Please visit the Box Tops for Education website if you have additional questions.
Harris Teeter "Together in Education" Program
When shopping at Harris Teeter, sign up for a VIC card at Customer Service. Give them our code - #5562 - and when you check out your card will be linked to Saint Ann School for the entire year. Once your card is linked, Saint Ann will receive at least 2% of your Harris Teeter brand purchases.
If you already have a VIC card, you will need to "relink" your card to #5562 for Saint Ann to receive the benefit.
Visit the website for a complete list of Together in Education Promotions.
Publix "Partners Program"
The Publix card (available from the school office) is already linked to Saint Ann School. You just scan it each time you make a purchase at Publix and we will earn $500 for every $75,000 spent to Saint Ann parents. So give the cards out to members of your family and help earn money for Saint Ann School. The more our school supporters shop at Publix, the more money our school will receive. Every item you purchase is elibible towards the total spent - not just Publix brand items.
Office Depot "Money for Schools" Program
Pick up your card next time you're shopping at Office Depot and give them the code #70093668. This will link your purchase to benefit Saint Ann School.
Target REDcard & Target Visa
Enroll for a Target REDcard or a Target Visa and provide our school ID# 15893. Once enrolled, 1% of your REDcard purchases at Target and Target.com and 0.5% of your Target Visa purchases elsewhere are donated to Saint Ann School.
Tuition Rebate Program
Your everyday shopping can reduce your child's tuition. Really! See details below.
Kroger "Cares" Card
Stop by the school office today to pick up your Kroger Gift card that is linked to your student at Saint Ann School. Cards come pre-loaded with a $5 balance and cost you $5 to get one (in other words, it pays for itself immediately.) Once you have your personal gift card, stop by Customer Service when you go to Kroger to "recharge" your card by whatever dollar amount you choose to use during your visit, or for future visits. You will receive 4% of the amount that "goes through" your Kroger Gift Card back in rewards that is applied directly to your child's tuition costs each year. Cards can be used on groceries, at the pharmacy, and at the gas pump.
Shop with Scrip
Whether shopping for clothing, home improvement items, entertainment, electronics, or going out to eat, there's a Scrip card for you. Order and pay for a gift card at ShopWithScrip.com! and the school will receive a percentage of your purchases back to reduce your child's tuition. The benefit percentage varies by retailer with a few as high as 16%! Details are on the Scrip site. Order and pay for your cards online by noon on Mondays and your cards will be delivered to you at school during Friday dismissals.
