Other Ways to Help
- Donate your empty inkjet printer cartridges. Collecting and recycling them is consistent with our overall desire to be good stewards for God's earth. It is inconsistent to have our students recycle paper and cafeteria materials and not recycle our cartridges. We mail the cartridges to a recycler that gives us rebate dollars in return which we then use to purchase new cartridges for classroom and office use.

Now in existence for over 90 years, Saint Ann School continues to be a valuable part of the West Nashville community. In addition to providing a quality education with solid Christian values, our mission uniquely focuses on each individual student. Our goal is to provide an education that allows each student to become the best that they can be. In order to meet this goal, we rely on the generosity of donors for support. We know that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting fundraisers this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in improving our school.
Saint Ann School is an IRS designated 501(c) (3) organization, which means that your donations are 100% tax-deductible as permitted by law, and may offer you significant tax advantages. Our Federal Tax ID number is 620539200.
Fall Cookie Dough Sale
2011 Final Sale Results
Goal: $32,000
Final: $39,000
Who doesn't love cookies? As Saint Ann's only fundraiser that involves the students selling a product, this is a great one. This ready-to-bake frozen cookie dough practically sells itself. And, better yet, Saint Ann School keeps 40% of students' overall sales. In 2009, we used the funds from cookie dough sales to help with the new Spanish classroom and purchase new ExtraCare furniture and equipment. In 2010, the funds earned were used to purchase furniture and maps for the school. 2011 funds will be used to help buy classroom novels, an electric drum kit, a document camera for the spanish room, varsity basketball uniforms, and to add power outlets to the science classroom.
Please see the Otis Spunkmeyer website for additional information.

Annual Fund Drive
2011 Results
Goal: $40,000
112.0%
Final: $44,823
This fundraiser is a simple request for monetary donations from current families, past supporters, alumni, church parishioners and fans of Saint Ann School. This is our top-earning fundraiser each year and its success is vital in helping to keep our tuition levels as low as possible while maintaining our ability to provide students with up-to-date and innovative tools for their education and to carry out the strategic plan of our school. It is clear that without these funds, the programs planned for students of Saint Ann would suffer.
Last year, funds were used to renovate the 8th and 2nd grade classrooms, to complete the renovations on Neidert Hall and to renovate the school storage area. This year, the funds will be used to purchase classroom technology for the teachers and students. Some money will help purchase some infrastructure items for the Upper School 1 to 1 Laptop program.
Spring Fling
Each year, companies and individuals ensure the success of Spring Fling by making generous donations of items and gift certificates for the silent auction. Last year's donations to Saint Ann's Mardi Gras-themed event helped to raise money to supply Language Arts textbooks and to renovate the 2nd and 8th grade classrooms. The continued success of Saint Ann School, and the success of the students entrusted to our care, relies on the support we receive from this community. Even in times of economic challenges, the support to our school remains strong.
Please take a moment and consider donating an item or gift certificate this year. Or you may support this event by attending! Each year, the Spring Fling brings great fun and includes dinner, music, dancing, silent auctions and live auctions. Funds from the 2012 Spring Fling will be used to purchase new Global Studies textbooks for K-8. Your generosity will help to ensure that our tradition of excellence continues on!
Your Everyday Shopping Can Support Saint Ann School
Shopping Cards
Thank you to everyone who uses the Target "Take Charge of Education" card, Harris Teeter "Together in Education" card, Office Depot "5% Back to Schools" card, and Publix "Partners" card. During the 2010/2011 school year, Saint Ann received approximately $1,200 from these programs. This is "free money" that supports all the ways Home and School benefits our student programs and school community. Please see the program details for instructions on participating in these programs. Keep it up!!
